Post-Industrial Recycled PP Granules

These granules are produced from clean post-industrial polypropylene scrap, sorted by colour and MFI band, then re-pelletised with a 120-mesh melt filter. The result is a consistent feed for injection moulding where virgin resin cost is the main driver.

Typical specification

• MFI: 8-25 g/10min (measured at 230°C / 2.16kg), single band per lot
• Ash content: below 1.5%
• Moisture: below 0.3% after drying
• Packaging: 25kg woven bag, 1,000kg jumbo bag, or 20ft container loose loading

Where this grade performs well

Black recycled PP is widely used for logistics crates, waste bins, pallets and automotive under-body parts where colour consistency and UV stability matter more than optical clarity. Natural grade suits parts that will be masterbatched on site.

Sourcing notes

Recycled content claims should be supported by lot-level traceability. Ask for the input scrap source, the re-pelletising record and a third-party heavy metal test if the part is used in packaging.
