A teether is a product a baby puts in its mouth for hours at a time, and that single fact drives every decision in its manufacture. Material grade, hardness, surface texture and the way the clip attaches all have to be right, because the failure modes here are not a chipped toy but a safety incident.
We mould teethers in food grade silicone for baby care brands, nursery chains and private-label sellers, with the clip strap and packing handled in the same plant.
Shapes we produce
- Ring teether with moulded nubs, the volume item
- Remote-control shaped teether with button bumps, aimed at babies who grab phones
- Fruit and animal shapes with a hollow rattle bead inside
- Key and bracelet styles with three or four linked elements
- PP or silicone clip strap, with a T-bar or a loop attachment
Why hardness matters
Too soft, and the teether collapses into the back of the mouth; too hard, and it does not relieve the gum pressure that makes a baby chew in the first place. For a ring teether we normally sit at Shore A 45 to 50: firm enough to resist a bite, soft enough to feel like a gum massager. Nubbed surfaces add relief without changing the compound, which is why they are the standard design rather than a variant.

Material documentation
Every lot is supplied with a material declaration covering BPA, phthalates, heavy metals and latex. Food-contact compliance is declared to FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 or EU 10/2011 as the buyer's market requires, and migration testing is arranged with an accredited laboratory appointed by the buyer. We do not issue our own compliance certificates for another company's brand.
Care and packaging
Teethers are supplied ready to retail: washable, boil-safe to 100 degrees Celsius, and packed with a care card. Retailers increasingly ask for plastic-free packing, which usually means a printed card and a paper band instead of a polybag, with the product visible through a die-cut window.
Small parts and attachment
Rattle beads are sealed inside a moulded cavity and cannot be reached without destroying the teether. Clip straps are attached with a moulded loop rather than a metal ring, so there is no plated part near a baby's mouth and no small component that can work loose.
