A gear construction kit turns an abstract idea, that one turning wheel can drive another, into something a child can hold. This 68 piece set is built around four gear diameters and three axle lengths, which is enough to build a working gear train, a hand crank and a simple vehicle without instruction-heavy assembly.

Why plastic and which plastic
Gears need dimensional stability more than they need a glossy finish. ABS holds tooth profile well across repeated assembly, and POM axles give a low-friction bearing surface so the mechanism turns smoothly without grease. Both materials are recyclable and can be supplied with material certificates.

OEM options
Piece count, colour palette, box artwork and the build sheet language can all be adapted. Adding a moulded tray inside the box adds roughly 6 days to the schedule. Schools and distributors often ask for a stackable storage tray and a spare-parts bag, both of which are standard options rather than tooling changes.
Safety and age grading
The kit is intended for ages 6 and above with supervision. Small parts mean it must carry the appropriate choking hazard warning in the destination market, and it should not be sold in the infant toy section. Where the set will be used in a school, we can supply a class pack of 6 sets with a teacher's note on gear ratios.
