Office organisation products are bought in sets and judged on how they look stacked together. That makes two things critical: the stacking interface has to be identical across the range so a buyer can mix items, and the finish has to be consistent from one moulding to the next, because a set with one glossy tray among matte ones reads as a defect.
We mould document trays, desktop organisers, pen cups and clipboards in Shenzhen for office supply distributors, catalogue programmes and private-label sellers.
The range
- A4 document tray, stackable to five tiers, with or without a front label window
- Desktop organiser with compartments for pens, cards and a phone slot
- Pen cup in three heights, with a weighted base option
- Clipboard with a spring clip, letter and A4 formats
- Stackable storage box with a living hinge lid
Stacking interface
Every tray in the family uses the same four locating posts and the same 6 mm stacking pitch, so a buyer can order a three-tier set and add a fourth tier later without a new part number. The posts are moulded with a 0.2 mm interference fit: enough to hold a stack together when it is lifted, loose enough that a customer can separate the trays without forcing them.

Why PS for trays
PS gives a crisp edge and takes a fine matte texture, which is what makes a moulded tray look like a moulded tray rather than a folded sheet. It is brittle under impact, so trays are designed with a radius at every corner and a wall of 1.8 mm minimum. Where a buyer expects the product to be dropped in a warehouse, PP is the safer choice at some cost to the edge crispness.
Living hinges and lids
Storage boxes use a PP living hinge, moulded with the hinge line oriented across the flow direction. A hinge moulded along the flow cracks within a few hundred cycles; across the flow it lasts for thousands. The hinge is also the reason those boxes cannot use PS, however much the buyer likes the finish.
Retail packing
Office products sell in two channels with different requirements. Catalogue and B2B buyers want shrink-wrapped sets with a barcode label. Retail wants a printed box with a die-cut window, and increasingly a plastic-free pack. Both are available on the same line; the difference is the packing station, not the moulding.
Compliance
These are general consumer goods, not toys, and are not age graded. Material declarations for REACH are supplied on request, and any product-level testing is arranged by the buyer for the destination market.
