Consumer Goods and Semi-Finished Lines Added to Our Plastic Supply Program

   2026-10-20 OriginalChina Plastic Factory Editorial100
Summary: A production note on the expansion of the supply program beyond resin and toy moulding into consumer goods, adult wellness components and semi-finished parts, and what the added categories mean for buyers.

The supply program has been extended beyond raw resin and toy moulding. Three new category boards are now live on the site: plastic consumer goods, adult wellness components and semi-finished plastic components, together covering fifteen leaf categories from baby and pet products to preforms, closures and extruded profiles.

What was added

  • Plastic consumer goods. Baby and maternity feeding products, pet feeders and litter boxes, fitness and wellness items, garden and outdoor living, and stationery and office supplies. The focus is food grade and thin-wall moulding, two-shot handles and living-hinge design.
  • Adult wellness components. Industrial component supply for the wellness sector: platinum silicone and TPE moulding, overmoulded housings, charging module assembly and discreet packaging kits. The program supplies components and OEM manufacturing services only, with neutral wording throughout.
  • Semi-finished plastic components. PET preforms, unassembled moulded parts on runners, caps and closures with liner insertion, welded sub-assemblies and custom extruded profiles, for buyers who split moulding from assembly.

Why these boards

The expansion follows how buyers actually place orders. A brand launching a feeding product needs the bowl, the lid and the packaging quoted by plants that understand food contact declarations. A hardware buyer needs preforms and closures on the same material declaration. An OEM buying sub-assemblies needs part-level documentation, not a finished product. Grouping the program by how it is bought, rather than by resin family, shortens the quotation loop.

Tooling and capacity notes

The consumer goods board runs on 80 to 350 tonne presses with tools built for high cavitation on small parts and balanced cooling on large ones. The semi-finished board adds preform tooling for standard neck finishes and extrusion lines for profiles and rods. Tooling lead times are quoted per programme; sample lead times for the new boards are listed on each category page.

How the boards are quoted

Each leaf category carries a reference programme with the tooling scope, material declarations and packing described in the product detail. New programmes are quoted from a drawing, a sample or a specification, with tooling quoted separately from part price so the two can be approved independently. Where a buyer wants to start without tooling, several leaf categories offer existing-tool programmes at the published MOQ.

Documentation

Material declarations for the new boards follow the same pack structure as the resin programmes: grade statement, masterbatch declaration, moulding plant declaration and, where the market requires it, a migration test commissioned by the buyer. Food contact items ship under FDA or EU declarations as the destination requires; electrical items carry RoHS declarations for the sub-parts.

What it means for existing buyers

Buyers already running resin or toy programmes can add consumer or semi-finished items to the same material declaration pack, which simplifies documentation for mixed orders. Mixed container loads combining small consumer parts with semi-finished components are quoted per programme with the freight consolidated. Sample lead times for the new boards start at the figures published on each category page, and tooling is scheduled on receipt of the drawing pack.
